Broken Bits
The average dieter,
Can be heard to say,
"It's a full-time career,
Keeping my weight at bay."
She'll nibble on biscuits,
But only admits,
"I was just eating,
The broken bits!"
I put pounds on quickly,
And lose them so slow.
Just where do they come from,
And why won't they go?
It's hard to admit it,
When my hunger hits, so,
I was just eating,
The broken bits!
Well, if you feel smug,
You'd better beware.
You may be thin now,
But just you take care!
Say's one once slim beauty,
For whom nought now fits,
"I was just eating,
The broken bits!"
